Tetrapod Evolution 4of5

Tetrapod Evolution 4of5

Tetrapods are vertebrate animals having four feet, legs or leglike appendages. Amphibians, reptiles, dinosaurs/birds, and mammals are all tetrapods, and even the limbless snakes and whales are tetrapods by descent. The earliest tetrapods radiated from the Sarcopterygii, or lobe-finned fish, into air-breathing amphibians. The first tetrapods are now thought to have evolved in shallow and swampy freshwater habitats, towards the end of the Devonian, a little more than 365 million years ago. This documentary walks through our early understanding and discoveries regarding the evolution of tetrapods. The list of known fossils possessing transitional features continues to grow. Osteolepis, Eusthenopteron, Sterropterygion, Panderichthys, Elpistostega, Tiktaalik, Elginerpeton, Densignathus, Ventastega, Metaxygnathus, Obruchevichthys, Hynerpeton, Acanthostega, Ichthyostega, Whatcheeria, Tulerpeton, Pederpes, Greerepton, Crassigyrinus, Pholidogaster, Pteroplax, Baphetes, Balnerpeton, Dendrepton, Silvanerpeton, Proteogryinus, Eoherpeton Every home should have the Animal Planet channel www.youtube.com

New Nike CTR360 Colorway Released!!

New Nike CTR360 Colorway Released!!

soz its a bit late, ive been slacking i know :L Here’s the highly anticipated next release for the Nike CTR360 Maestri football boots. A boot that since its launch back on the 1st October, has been taking football pitches around the globe by storm! The list of players who have converted to the Nike CTR360 Maestri football boots certainly makes for impressive reading, and are a testament to the performance attributes of the CTR’s. Since their release we’ve seen such players as Cesc Fabregas, Andres Iniesta, Sergio Aguero, Javier Mascherano, Rafael van der Vaart, James Milner, Florent Malouda, Fernando Gago and Ashley Cole impressing in this brand new boot range. The new white/silver/neptune blue colourway is a great look, for this revolutionary football boot. The Nike CTR360’s have an innovative design to take ball control to the next level – by assisting a player to win the ball, keep control and distribute the ball. All performance attributes that have made these football boots particularly popular with playmaking midfielders. The upper of the Nike CTR360 Maestri football boots is made from a synthetic Kanga-Lite material, developed by Nike this material gives the same ball touch and feel of a natural K leather. But with the added benefit of being a more durable material that absorbs 20% less water than a natural leather, which also means the boot will remain lightweight in wet conditions. The stand-out design features of the Nike CTR360 Maestri football boots are the

Re-skinning Edmonton's Skyline

Re-skinning Edmonton's Skyline

Edmonton architecture firm Manasc Isaac is hosting a series of “reimagine” summits in Alberta to look at replacing the drab precast concrete of our downtown cores with glassy new skins. The towers will be more energy efficient, more cost-effective, and much, much more attractive; and nothing, theoretically, has to be torn down. The clothing metaphor book-ending the video has a blessedly short though regrettable clip of a man in tighty whities.
